I am making a page for my neighbor, he hasn't seen it yet, so before I show him, what do you think about it? He is a photographer and its for his business. None of the links work yet, but some of the links have dropdown menu's. Here is the temporary link to the page, until we upload it to his server.

Layout looks okay. Seems like it'll be kept clean and rather simple to navigate.

When your menu pops up, though, it blocks the "links" link below it. Now if I accidently rolled over "slideshow", I have to wait for it to go away before I can get to links. At first I wasn't even sure what link was triggering the pop-up. May want to play with the UI there to make everything clear and easy.

The scrolling images look good; thank you for not using flash for something like that. Flash is not the answer to everything... Turning JavaScript off, however, causes nothing to appear in that area. So long as you don't make navigation a requirement of clicking on those images, you should be good, though.

I moved the Slide show link to the bottom of the list, and I spaced out the links a little more, and I changed the wait for the mouseover menu from 250 millisecons to 1 second so now it will go away almost instantly. I changed it on my Comp, so you wont be able to see that when you click on the link.

I agree. The layout looks good - very clean, and the scrolling images are both a good speed and draw the eye to the more important content.

Glad to see you moved the slide show link. that's not enjoyable the way it covers up the other menus.

It feels like a lot of white space down below... don't get me wrong on that, i like the balance that exists right now - and it's a photographer, so they don't want too much stuff on their pages ( )... but it sure looks like it's waiting for something... just my two cents on a smaller point.

Sure better than the first 2-3 sites I made for photographers.

I plan to have more information in the center categrory where it has his email, and stuff, so when I get the info from him, that arera will take up more of the white space, and balance it out a little more.
