http://strictlyreading.co.uk/ yet another change!
What you think this time? I think it's the cloest I'll get it to how I want it. QUite happy with it.
Just general feedback I guess. I need to change some stuff (menus) and add new stuff (better guides and maps)

The content seems to be stuck halfway down the page, not where it is suppoused to be. Have you cross browser tested this?

Are you using Opera by any chance? What resolution?
Woeks fine here in latest versions of FF, IE, Opera and Safari and on earlier versions.
Doing the browser test now but it doesn't look accurate as a few have system errors on

Thats the point... this is how users with those configurations see your site.... if there are errors on there then users with that set up will see those errors too...
I'll have a closer look!!

My apologies - yes there are some system errors on there but that has no effect on the screenshots. Have you seen the ones where the text is lower down the page? That is probably a compatibility problem with Drupal. It is up to you to decide if the pro's outweigh the con's. The screenshots ARE accurate for their respective set-ups. Alot of the configurations are rare and deserve less attention than the more up to date / common configurations. Bear in mind that i am running XP/FF and got the error...

The header graphic is hard on the eyes, other than that I like it!

Firefox 3.0 on my ubuntu 10" netbook. Not the most common configuration. I don't know why it does it. Are you seeing it on browsershots? There are a couple of validation errors... this could be something to do with it. from the screenshots it looks as if this is a bug that is effecting quite a few configurations. It's your call at the end of the day but it's best to have no bugs at all on the screenshots and valid markup. It could be the template. If you want to get to the bottom of this then switch to default theme and see if the same happens. If all is good then you know you have a problem with your theme. If not then the problem is with drupal. Like is said, not a big issue but from a proffessional point of view this is a problem.
I noticed you changed the theme a bit. I am trying to get more screens but it's not having any of it!!
p.s. you seem to have contributed alot to the formus. Please don't think i am telling you how to do your job!!

Seems it has passed all the validation I tried (XHTML and CSS) anymore???
No no no, I'm glad of the pointers. I leave a lot of things for later as so busy and often forgt what it was I had to do!

hmm strange.... well i am at work now (XP IE) and the content is pushed below the right column as it is on my netbook. Have you written the theme yourself?
Attatched are screenshots as i see it. I think this could be a big problem because as you are aware, my setup is a common one! The problem corrects itself if i up the resolution but it is set at the standard 1024 x 768 and the bug is there.

Strange... I'll have a look at home later. However there is no "standard" screen resolution and the stats show that 1280x1024 is by far the most common one to my site
However, thanks for the heads up, will have a look

Is that for your personal preference rather than anything else? I personally think it's fine
