I assume you're under construction as both the "GRAPHICS" and "MUSIC" subsections are unavailable upon click.

That out of the way, your site is very dark. Try putting some outlines around your text that stand out, or brighten the glow effects.

Second, your shoutbox is obstructive to the center of the page and should be placed off to the side. Doing so will give you more space to use for content and more important things.

You also may want to alter the shade of your background to more closely match the colors of your website. Primarily built black boxes on a slightly brighter gray is off.

problems include:

186146 bytes of images.. too large
191354 bytes total... thats over 1/2 minute loading time on dialup!

tips:

1) optimize the heck outta your images, try to get below 8 seconds loading for dialup
2) check your html code with the w3validator and the css w3 validator
3) move the shout box like said above
4) check your loading times with http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/
5) check your cross compatibility with browsercam.com

thank you for your replies. I'll try and change the colours and picture file size. Do you think it would be alright if i put the shoutbox under the pictures?

not much content to make a critic over,

but first of all the the text on the "grapic" part of the image could need some more contrast, bit hard to read.

i think placing the shoutbox bellow the image would look better.
and you ought to fix the link color within the shoutbox, the blue color does not go well with the grey background.

and as powerkor said, you need to do some optimizing,
the background image alone is over 20k.
