Darker text on a lighter background is always easier to read than light text on a dark background.

Also, the blue deluge is a bit harsh on the eyes... maybe lighten it up a bit in the main background area?

alrighty, thanx for the suggsetion, but are here any specific colors that are best for users and easier to read?

there's a site, i've been trying to locate it again I found it once; that will scan your page and show you what it looks like for each of the three types of color blindness.

I reckon is a color blind person can read it easily; then a full sighted person could, I'll try to dredge it up and post it...

Mmmm. I like the dark (main side) red and blue, but I think the left sides are too bright. I think the B&W is too contrasting as well.

I would go with the black and white style. It's not that harsh on the eyes.

I really liked the blue on blue the best.. but I guess I'm the only one.

I thought the black and white was too boring.

I don't like black and yellow together, don't know why.

And red irritates me, puts me in a hurry, on edge..

Black is just too much.

I just liked the blue, just a matter of a opinion. Please don't pounce on me for going against the herd!

B&W is too bland.
Grey text on red is hard to read.
I like the blue best.

I like the blue, dont get me wrong, I just think the lighter blue is too bright :-/

I like "Terminal", but your category headings "main", "content", etc, need to be brought out more like they are on the red/blue templates (how you have them in black, but the rest in red/blue).

icic....i believe im going to completely drop my red scheme...it was one i did in a rush...(obviously)....and i think ill drop the black and white(normal) one cuz its simply too plain i guess......and then ill touch up some more on the other two styles

basically, what you want is contrast. i mean, if i stick black text on top of say... #555555(gray), it's easy on the eyes because of no bright whites...but it does blend a little. so i'd go with the black on white. the red and blue are brutal on the eyes... remember...this contrast
