You shouldn't have to register to vote. That makes it look like you're just harvesting usernames, passwords, email, etc...

Layout is really good, though. I like that part.

Is there a way to just see girls/guys? Otherwise I'm voting No for any guy that pops up. I'd knock the bottom out of the chicks shown, though...

If you didn't have ot register to vote then one person could vote multiple times for someone, it'd throw reason for voting off, there'd be no way to make sure votes are valid.

maybe you could let an unregistered vote a max of 3 times and then ask to register.

Just a suggestion.

Any kind of voting on the internet can be rigged. I can register any number of users, probably using a bot, and cast a vote for my favorite girl. You could simply use cookies to restrict users to one vote per image. Sure, it's easily bypassed, but so is everything else.

All you need is a large enough user base so that people doing "ballot stuffing" are drowned out by the valid votes. Good luck.

There's no way to be sure they only vote 3 times. Making them log in makes sure you know who's voting. People can clear cookies, and change ip's by reconnecting to the net. There's no way to limit them to 3 times. When they log in it provides a way to track who's voting. Plus no one's allowed to vote unless they have a pucture uploaded so the people they voted on can see who voted for them.

It's a community, not just a place to get your picture rated.

The website is free, no catches. You register then get the password sent to your email. You can only register using the same email once. Each time you register you have to upload a main picture before you can vote, send messages, or leave comments. So if someone wants to devize a bot so complex that it can sign up correctly, use different email addresses each time, go check them and retrive the pass, log in, upload a pictures, and then make it the main picture, then continue on to vote, they probly deserve to be able to. You would have to do all that to be able to vote more than once.

images take ages to load up to. Especially the navbar.

I'll get opera in the next 3 days and adjust everything. I'll be changing all the layout graphics to gif's which will take less then 30% of the time it takes now to load. Then I'll be changing all the graphics with text in them to regular text, including the menus. That will speed it up some.
