I would really appreciate a review of this site. It is intended to be a one-stop database of info on UK casinos (land-based, not internet) and as such I have tried to keep advertising minimal and discreet (basically the list of casinos in the left hand side).

My question is does it work and is it appealing enough? I get very few hits so any tips on increasing traffic would also be really welcome.

Thanks!

nice simple layout.

the image of of the roulette(?) is fantastic.

you should pick an overall box shape for your info.

some boxes have round corners and some have sharp.

the left box with round corners is even fighting the sharp box above it.

overall it feels incomplete, empty. so much space with itty bitty type.

i'm sure you have already but i'd look around at other sites like yours. see what they have that you don't.

overall a great start but just not a place one would spend a lot of time at.

good luck!

useful layout but I think the base color can be a bit different ... Like tones of green etc ? ....

I also suggest a map for selecting and to get a grip of locations. But don't loose the list, rather make it in two columns. As now there is too much empty space, it diminishes the list.

Great advice. Especially the two columns. There is too much white space.

You need a quick link menue on the left or on the top or a search engine so that people dont have to scroll but can just click "York" and the page would scroll down to it.

Otherwise it's good *thumbs up*

You should also divide it into:

Casinos:
London,
Manchester
York
Etc.
____

Horse-Tracks:
Birmingham
Bristol
London

It would be prudent to fill the holes in your security before looking to increase traffic.

EDIT: Just realized how old this thread is, removed details.

I suggest making all of the city listings on their own page. Create a table with 3 or 4 columns that have just the city names as links and have visitors click on those links to see the listings for the cities. This give a cleaner look to the site. Thanks for showing it to us.
