Looked at the homepage - visually very good. Clean & modern looking. Like the quotation feature for dynamic & static sites. Under the bonnet it's a bit average though. No doctype but even if you force it through the validator there's bucket loads of errors including basic ones such as missing alt tags. Must admit I haven't seen or used the <a tip="" attribute. Wouldn't want to either - doesn't validate.

Hey,
thanks for the message. I scanned my site with some validation tools on-line and it returned like few millions of errors, including incombatibility with major browsers. When I programmed the site I made sure it works properly at least for the 4 browsers listed down the page. And I know it works. What concerns the <a tip> tag: si, I never seen this before, either . I found it on Hotscripts.com (this small code displayes sth like extended ALT over the link). First I built it on my own using javascript and dhtml, but I am php man, not js, and I wasn't happy with the result. So I applied the <a tip> function. It works as it should, so I am happy about that.Any suggestion what I could do about other problems? Thank you. GreG Last edited by greg76 : September 8th, 2004 at 11:52 PM. Reason: typo |
