Please comment on the design and layout of the site. There is not much content up at the moment but there soon will be. Constructive criticism please!

It takes forever to load, well it's not that bad, like 10 seconds.
I think the image at the top(the red slashy thing) could use a little work on the right edge. It looks like you made it and then scaled it to a larger size. |

Very slow site. I could barely navigate the pages. Seemed clean and easy to follow, though. Tutorials are a little lacking in info, but...

The overall design is nice and clean - is the right hand side of the red bar in the logo supposed to be blurry and pixelated? It seems out of place compared to the smoother edge of the rest of it.
Another little niggle - there is a 1px space to the either side of the red headings in the menu, personally I think it would look a bit clearner if there was no gap between the red and the black outline Also, not related to the design, but in your PHP tutorial about includes you said : It is common practice to put all the files you include into an "includes" folder on your web server and give them the extension ".inc". That's not good practise because people usually include other PHP files which won't normally get executed if they have a .inc extension May want to point that out in your tutorial. |
