this is a site for a family-run upholstery shop. i was pretty stumped about how to go about it since they basically do custom work. i'd love to hear comments on the look, usability, and overall effectiveness of the site. thanks in advance,

I actually really like this. It's a very clean design looks wise. However, it could have been done easily without tables. Also, I would think that you would increase useability considerably if you made it so that someone could go to the next logical file in the portfolio pop-up rather than having a pop-up for each individual item...

I have to echo that about avoiding the popups, my popup stopper kept stopping them and alerting me...quite irksome, ok so I'm easily irked...sorry!
