Overall I like the basic layout. The colorscheme is pleasing; slightly exciting without being gaudy. Navigation is simple and self explanitory. Good work.

I think it would be good if you could keep the faded floorplan to the header of the page rather than as the background of the entire site. It makes text hard to read and it seems as though it's only there as filler at the moment. Alternatively, if it could be lightened a bit more, that might help as well.

On the front page, I was a bit confused as to where the content was. The bullets to the left initially read like a navigation area rather than actual content. I think things will work out better once you've got more copy for the site, but it's something to keep in mind.

You might consider making that tagline live text and your logo should really be an <img> with a correct alt attribute. Also, it's good practice to make your logo a hyperlink to the home page of the site.

Lastly, there's a bit of a bug with the nav bar in Firefox. The nav bar sits down about 2px showing the green background of the separator above it.

Btw, You'd probably get more feedback if you made that an actual link.

It'd also be nice if you followed the rules. Just posting the url (which I've added a link to) and review my site in the title makes it look like spam. Read points 2, 4, 6, 7.

I like your site. I think it's a nice improvment from the other version. I especialy like what you've done with the circles.

I think you could do a lot better with the links in the XHTML version.

P.S. . . ...

I think there should be an option enabled by default for automaticaly parsing URLs so that:
1) you don't always have to go and click the hyperlink button to add a URL link.

2) you ony have to go click the button when you want a named link if you're too lazy to type out the code.

3) I find it really annoying when people give a link and it's just text and I have to copy and paste it.

4) moderators spend less time turning peoples links into actual links.

5) I hate going from keyboard to mouse when I'm tryping up a question or reply and I need to add a link, lazyness, it's what the net's for.

6) I also hate having to go from mouse to keybaord while I'm browsing the forums and someone doesn't make their link a link and just paste plain text.

7) did I mention default?

Defaults are better for enforcing THE RULES because it takes user input to change it and their obviously too lazy to post a link correctly (or don't know how and haven't noticed that they aren't posting actual links or have never seen a post with a link in it or whatever the case may be) so when it's posting correct by default they SHOULD also be too lazy (or whatever the case may be) to change it so that URLs aren't automaticaly parsed...unles they're going to be ****s about it and do it to try and piss people off. I use lazy because I'm lazy...

Thanks for all the useful feedback. I agree about the bg getting the way of easy reading and I really wish the engineer would be kind enough to get the content to me and his own web space*sigh*
Sorry, I didn't realize the protocol was to insert the link in the thread title, I should have read that rule.
I'm really against making a logo an img with alt text because it is simply a visual representation for a company or organisation and it doesn't serve any purpose outside of that but if it were for instance a map serving as direction then it would be important to alert users by way of description in alt text.
OH btw does anyone know how to fix that line height problem for FF and NS7 that I have in my nav bar? I've tried but failed.
