There's a few things I don't like about the design:
  • The top logo is very confusing. Some of the text is upside down, and it's difficult to read. The actual logo to the left (the club g bit) doesn't really stand out enough I don't think.
  • There is also a section in the top where you can enter your username and password. But, the username and password box are right on top of each other and it's not obvious that there are two input boxes there.
  • In the forum list, the columns aren't all aligned together. On some, the forum name and description stretch further over than others, and I'd prefer it if the Posts, Threads and Last Post columns were all the same.
  • The menu at the right is a little strange, and I don't really like the four coloured bars. The hover-over colour of red and grey background doesn't really go with the rest of the site.
  • Finally, I'm not sure abot the whole colour scheme of the site. I'm not sure I really like the pink/purple/grey.

Hope that helps.

Well I can't see an option for this. Perhaps I need to register before I can change the skins.

It is very busy and I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking at. On a webpage, my attention should go somewhere initially.. but on this page.. I don't know where that is supposed to be.

Simply: there's too much going on in too little space.

When I view the source, I see a lot of table-tags, but there's only actually one table on the page.. and that's the links. Also, from the source, i see that there actually is some content text.. but it's not really visible in the browser window.

I did not get out the ruler, though I am certainly tempted to do so.. I am guessing that about 8% of the browser window is actually used for content.. That is less than is used for the list of links (which I assumed, before viewing the source, WAS the content). I have no idea what the site is for (unless I read the title, which most people don't do unless they see it in a search engine; or I read the description in the source) and I really don't know what they name of the place is. There's a logo at the top that contains all sorts of letters turned this way and that.

Actually.. there is some small text at the bottom.. but I ignore that sort of thing.. it's usually ads and other garbage that web designers don't intent their audience to read.

The images don't have alt tags.

Viewed in Lynx, one can actually see the content and not have to deal with the design.
