Well, I've done a few for friends, and now I think I'm a pro.... lol

Anyway, wanna take a look at this site? Tried to stay simple without looking like another fool with a wysiwyg editor.

It's not the extent of my talents, but hows the design? Professional or hack-ish?

Thanks-
Scott

when just starting there's no way you can charge 100/hr and get away with it. start humble and work up.

IMO: Hackish, looks like something you can get from a free template. Maybe change the menu into something more dynamic. From what you are charging I can't see to many customers flocking to you without a more impressive website. Your website has to be your showcase that draws the customers to you!

I do like the color combinations though.

Thanks guys, thats what I was looking for. Its coming down, and I'm going to design a more elaborate site.
I really havent been that thrilled with it myself. I was walking a line between a "showcase gone overboard" and so simple its hack-ish.
Guess wich way I fell?

I realize that 100 bucks and hour is steep... ok, very steep but I figured that.... oh nevermind, I'm changing that bit about 100/hr to "Quoted per Job" or some such thing.

WisconsinGuy- the colors were about the only thing I was happy with.

Thanks for the input folks. It's what I was looking for. And no one got nasty! That was nice.

Scott
