Any recommendations on the color scheme, design and layout? It is a plone site, but we ditched the standard 3 column layout and opted for the cleaner 2 column look. Plone is really powerful and if you are a developer and not familiar with it, at least check it out. Great CMS!

site looks nice clean and professional but it did take a while to fully load and i am using adsl so... not sure why that is

Nice and modern looking site - professional and 'easy on the eyes'

on my 1024 x 768 screen, the site spans longer than the horizontal screen, so I have to scroll to the right to get the full content. Also the main content table, below menu and above footer, is longer than the header and footer tables. They should probably be the same size

Thanks for the replys. I'll keep working to get the sizing issue correct. I mainly develop on Mozilla, and only test using IE now and then.

i prefer moz firefox but i have found that IE displays things soooo much differently at times so it is well worth checking it all looks good in IE, especially as the majority of people use IE !!!

Right, but moz firefox is using an older gecko version and the epoz editor is not working properly on it. Lately, Mozilla has been catching up very quickly in terms of performance. Loading times are down and memory usage is also reduced to the point that it may be even faster than firefox.

On that note, does anybody have plone experience? I recommend it hightly, and would like to know if there are any plone experts in here.

Looks good to me. Perhaps you could improve it by implementing a rollover on the vertical left navigation bar.
