Rates.. what about them?
I realize we arent supposed to talk about what everyone charges and such but I wanted some insite.

What would you charge to do a website like this..

I am curious. I did everything on this website. Resizing images, design, coding, some sql, css sheets (editing them), everything you see on this site is by me. Except I didnt design the guestbook, or forums, and blogs (for those I jsut edited the css). Even the flash VR on the 3D artwork page. Everything..

I would appreciate any answers or insite you can give me. I am pretty new to all of this and am looking for any help possible. I also stuck this in the web critiques part cuz I wanted people to critique this website.

I think the site looks great. If I would change one thing, I would take away your web design portfolio. They don't do you any justice and I think you are capable of much better sites than those that were in your portfolio.

I will eventually go back and use css instead of flash so that its compatible for people who dont have flash. Thanks!

dang, nice arrangement! The layout I love, the way it was made I just adore.

The text links to the left are simple, quick loading, and have nothing wrong with them.

Just think it could use a tad more color, since this IS for art.

Thank you for your comments. The layout and simplicity was what I was going for .. yet I wanted a professional edge. I think I accomplished this. I thought about more color but then I was afraid it might take away from what I was trying to do or accomplish so for now I left it like this. I am already thinking of ways I will update it later on down the road. Thats why I love these critiques too. They give me ideas.
