Hey, this is my personal site, an ongoing WIP. Developed with PHP, HTML, and minimal JavaScript. Main features are the blog and the forums. I take pride in the fact that everything on the site was done by me. No downloaded scripts, or anything of the sort. Anyway, just looking for a general critique of layout and content. Thanks in advance for comments ![]() |

Dude. You have an ad for your own site on your own site. If people are at your site, you don't need to advertise anymore.
Just curious, is that a picture of you? or Jesus? Under "Works", both links to the sites you've made don't seem to work anymore. The layout is nice and simple though. But I'd suggest using a different border on your tables, maybe 1px solid to give it a little more style.

Sorry about that... the ad is a joke. As is the picture. It's of a friend that I photoshopped. As is the cat... a friend's cat. I guess I should've mentioned that the entire site is made with my friends in mind.
Those sites I did work for are both gone now... I guess I don't keep that section very up to date. Don't think it has any of my web work... And thanks, I'll give the 1-pixel border a try. |

Well if you want to keep people with low vision off your site having to scroll horizontally back and forth to read on 800x600 screen resolution will do it.
In general people are most comfortable reading between 400 - 600 pixels at at a time. The borders look great! ![]() |
