Italy Castle Hotel

1. the index page , the text is way to gray. TEXT IS DETAIL.. If you want someone over 50 to live at the hotel expect them to NOT be able to read that text. Make all details in NICE CLEAR READABLE TEXT. your are catering to a lot of elderly people.

2. BANNER should be a nice eye catcher not a GRAY landscape!! Its again a selling point make them stand out.

3. All contact information must be in nice clear color texts. Include a booking number on every page so the cmr who is anxious about ordering online can call without looking for contact details.

GREAT feedback. My hands were tied on the light colors for the font, not sure why he wanted that. The site is highly optimized so maybe 10% of visitors will hit that page in the end. Again,thanks for the feedback. Once in the site, did you find it easy to navigate, such as getting rates, info on local area, golf, spa, etc?

Well if the clients want it!! DO IT ,, he he,, well the site is nice to navigate into, Content focused and not heavy to load. It does it work . .

But the banner really sets the quality of the site down,, sorry to say that. I know you have proberbly worked hard on it, but that banner make if kinda feel home-made. If you know what I mean.

Turning off JavaScript allows me to submit empty contact forms, however. Also, I didn't see a contact form on the Flash version of the site... did I miss that?

I like it.
1) I agree about the banner image, but I think simply pumping up the contrast a bit could go along way.
2) Right clicking the shiny lake effect gives a not-too-professional unregistered message. Do you really want to require visitors to have Java just for that anyway? Java is less widely supported than Flash. Those who chose not to see the Flash site probably don't want to see Java. Consider a GIF version or, ideally, an image with a subtle reflection effect without the movement.
3) In the Flash version, the piano music makes me feel like I'm in the beginning of a murder mystery. Classical music + new media = creepy. I dunno, maybe it's just me.
