Hi, Newbie around here.
Have been lurking for a while, thought i would put my web site up for critique. Simply put, the web site is designed to promote my business - Holiday accomodation in the Charente region of France. I have had a good stab at optimising for search engines, and get good results from Yahoo and MSN beta, but Google don't want to know - suspect I need to build more links. Anyway, the site was created with FP 2003 and Photoshop, I had to do lots of messing with the code to remove all the crap FP likes to stick in there, but have got something that pretty much validates apart from one reference to height that FP seems to need, perhaps someone can help out with that? So the address is http://www.gurat.co.uk Any constructive feedback greatly appreciated from you experts, perhaps more on the design and usability front - I have to admit that the site is really designed to work best with M$ as that is what my logs tell me most people use - sorry THANKS David Charente Gites |

Google have indexed your site but you only have a couple of links (from Digital Point forum) by the looks of things. Yes, a link-building campaign would give you a boost. Your left nav menu has a couple of issues - some of the links are overflowing outside the right margin. Your HTML nearly validates (just one small error) and CSS is fine so well done on that...
