I think you site looks good, but the pink is really bugging me :-) sorry about that :-),, I hope the rest disagrees though :-)

let me explain the colours...the client LOVES the site...it's in support of Breast Cancer Research, and pink is a major colour, and has to be there. the denim is there due to the major sponsor being a 'jeanswear' supplier.

Well, unfortunately I disagree. The quicktime movie / splash screen could detour a dial up user, and I almost left because i did not clearly see a link to your actual site. The colors are somewhat hard on eyes and contradicting, its actually the denim that is overpowering. Denim is ok, but there is too much of it. I gauruntee if I were the client, with the coding you have in place it would be no small task to update my requests

unfourtunately, i'm not very familiar with css/xhtml, but am trying to learn as much as i can to keep the coding as tidy and efficient as possible.
aside from the overall appearance of the site (the client does like it a lot), any other suggestions?

for you to not be very knowledgeable in the
newest and greatest languages and standards is a bit
odd to me...

I mean, don't get me wrong, your site looks great, but
working with tables is a bit primitive in respect to the
newer languges.. don't you think..

JsKid, there are plenty of outdated and misleading resourses and some perfectly telented folks, just don't know about the standards.

Ran Dizolph you might want to check out some of these resourses.

thanks both of you fer yer input...no offense taken. i realize i'm not the tidyest coder workin on the web. i've talked to some people who still prefer using tables over css, and for this project seemed to work okay for me. like i said, i'm working on css, so hopefully i'll figure it out soon.
