Hi There,
I have recently finished the website for the design company I work for: http://www.m360.co.uk/ and would greatly appreciate any suggestions on the design, user-friendliness or any way’s the website can be improved! I am aware that there may be 1 or 2 small bugs in there and I know it is not quite optimised for 800x600 resolution but any feedback will be great! Thanks Tom |

As with all flash sites I must warn you that unless you provide an html alternetive you're going to run into a couple things.
1. Search engines will not rank you very high for anything other than your site name. 2. People on dialups are probably not going to appriciate it. I just about left the site becuase the loading screen did not pop up for about 6 seconds and I thought there was something wrong preventing the flash from displaying. Other than that it's a nice page and I like the design, a few things took too long to load, especially in the creative portion.

That is a long loading time.....
Apart from that, the navigation is very difficult. Too much happens from just moving the mouse over something. Whan reading, say the news section, just moving over the title changes the text. This makes it difficult to follow what you're reading with your mouse as many people do because you have to cross the titles of the other stories to do so, which changes the text. Then when moving over the bottom part, even accidentally, the whole section goes away and the navigation takes up the whole screen again. Try to use clicking to trigger things. Not making the navigation take up the whole screen would help too. I'd suggest keeping it at the bottom, even if you do keep the animation. Another thing I noticed is that there is no default section. Nothing comes up when you first visit the site. This is kind of confusing because as someone that doesn't know what the business is, I don't know what I want to look at first. Come to think of it, I still don't know what the site is about. The news section would probably be a good start page, or something that explains what the company does. The contrast between the text and the background isn't very good. It's hard to read. Darker, even black, text would fix that. Moving the mouse accross the navigation creates a crazy, jumpy effect that looks very bad. I'd suggest trying to make that smoother. It is stylish though.
