http://www.malcolmtech.com - Check it out everyone. I'm a fan of simplicity. Feel free to rant about it or IM me to talk about it or whatever.

Simplicity... no kidding. I see nothing wrong with the design, other than it being REALLY plain.

You should take a look at improving your code. Switching to a div/css layout would reduce the size (not that it is very big now) and be more correct than tables. Just something to think about.

i agree with JFetting about your code, it's very out of date.

your design doesn't really do it for me

i love simplicity (super simple homepage), but i feel that if your site is going to be 'simple' it needs to have good semantics, code and structure.

major points:

width is too small

no hover states on your links

i prefer to see a difference between the header and the footer, otherwise the content looks hemmed in.

but it's look good, nice and crisp (if you're happy with the design, keep it, after all your site is all about you )

imo though, the code needs attention.

Nothing too wrong with the look if you are going for very simple. I don't really know what the site is about. Thats my only gripe.

The comments above say everything, so no need to add to them.

Another example of a great simple theme is Stopdesign's Bleached theme.

did a little updating!

I did a little updating to my website to give it more content. I'm still working on it. For example, I added the side bar with the links, I also added a counter... And right now I'm working on hover effects, a small chat applet, and a small bloggin feature. Now granted I need to manually edit the html and make it more organized (I blame FP for that). Also, if you are using Mozilla Firefox, then it may not view right.. I'm still working on that, but Internet Explorer and Opera should work just fine right now. http://www.malcolmtech.com/
