I like it!
Not going to go through the validation errors, or the use of tables for layout, that's been covered SO many times.

Firstly, what do the checky squares DO????
It made me want to play chess or drafts, which I think would be a GREAT idea for a homepage. Wrote a game in JS to use on these checks...

Secondly, I felt it was TOO close to the ight edage, maybe give it SOME margin/padding. It made me get destracted by the edge of my monitor.

Thirdly, occasionaly (and quite randomly it seems) the Portfolio sub-manu seems to appear half way down the screen...???

Fourhtly, there's an odd flicker on the bottom icon of the Portfolio menu, heights change and a blue square flashes up...???

Fifthly, the text in your links page is WAY too small. I had to increase text size in FF twice to be able to read it without straining...

Other than that (so far) it looks like a really nice site...

Overall, your site is very unique and quite nice.

I would recommend increasing the text size throughout the page. Also, I would improve the menu. It seems rather bland. At a minimum, make the entire width of the drop down menu clickable.

Dusk, I put the squares in to add more interactivity. Using them to play a game would be awesome.. makes me wish that I could code. I did have the menu appear like that a couple of time too, that's why I put the second portfolio navigation on all of the portfolio pages.. I couldn't think of another fix that problem. I'm not sure what you mean about that odd flicker thing on the portfolio menu, I haven't had that happen to me yet. can you explain that a little more please?

Jfetting, font sizes on the home and about pages have been increased a bit. You mean that I should make the entire blue area of the dropdown clickable instead of just the text?

Thanks. A lot of people didn't like the mm in the upper right corner, so I am messing around with an idea for a different graphic to put up there. I was thinking of putting a graphic to match the new one in each of the iframe areas too. what do you think of the new graphics on http://www.mattmdesign.com/animation.htm ?
