Could you please make some coments on design, layout, functionality, and navigability. The most important one is functionality, if you feel the functions is not complete, please give me some suggestions. Thanks a lot.

By the way, I am using Typo3 as the content management system to build the website. Any other good options for a content management system?

Another question

Another thing is that, why I feel the site is not so "CLEAR" or formal as the IBM website? What's shall I do to make it formal and clear?

firstly i would like to say, converting to divs is always a good idea... and until i see my last table based website burn to the ground, i will keep saying that.

Your html isn't valid, and your css has an error in it, font sizes if not 0, must have a unit after them (this goes for other definitions of size also)

You seem to have gone to some lengths to make your page accessible, i suggest that following W3C recommendations is the best way of getting there.

I think the problem with the clarity (and i agree there is one) is the similarity between the coloured menus, they're different, but the slight difference just confuses me. Also the lack of borders, borders are good, they define one box from another.

your left menu bar seems a little too cluttered, i would suggest spacing the sections out more.

your shortcut box doesn't work... i get taken to a none existant page when i click on it in firefox and when using ie, crazy things start happening.

the search page takes an age to load

the image links in the right hand sidebar, do nothing for me and i don't think they would for someone else.

But other than those few points i've listed, i think it's a really nice site. It's good to see you've gone for an accessible layout and that you care about how easy it is to read.

Thank you for your helpful advice! I may try to improve it based on some of your suggestion.
