While simplicity is definatly something lacking on sites these days, it feels almost as though your site is empty. Perhaps adding some form of graphic or even something as menial as an advertisement would liven it up a bit.

Also, I had problems attempting to register to view your content fully. Maybe you should make this easier to accomplish, otherwise you'll loose potential visitors.

Alot of sites add links or short tid bits of other parts of their site on the home page. Doing so will make it easier to access these and also give more things to look at on the initial viewing. You may want to look into this.

this is not an area where you can register to view the content. It is basically my portfolio/cv which i don't want the whole world to see ! So i will allow access to those who require it, maybe i should mentiion this on the page to avoid confusion.

Thanks for the idea of adding little bits to the home page, i will think how i could easily do it!

i think you got your border and logo/logo text just perfect, where you lose it is when you get to your content area. you would defineatly organize your main section better and then go with the color scheme of your borders with some fitting images. then do the same to every page afterwards.

i plan to create some image titles for each page that are a bit more interesting than the blue text just a case of time !

I like it. Very clean, simple and fast. No frilly crap to confuse the user and everything looks right to the point. You may want to add some validation on your "contact" form, however, as I'm able to just click send without filling anything in.

Watch out for mail header injection vulnerabilities if you're taking any of the user input and putting it in the email headers. I did a quick test and didn't get any email back, so maybe you're good.

i dont think i am putting anything in the headers, i think it is all just in a message....would that sound right? oh apart from their email address.

Nice website. Simple, fast loading, easy to use. I like it, save for one thing... The Downloads page.

The blue/grey is not very easy reading. I suggest using a color similar to the color you use for the DOWNLOADS header at top as background, with plain black text.

ooops, that is meant to look like the text on this page here but i forgot to change the CSS, thanks for pointing it out, i will sort it now !!
