Smartypants? We in the playground... actually, reading your replies, I think we are.
I am not talking about SEO, well, not to a large extent anyway. Define a "decent" marketing book. Also please don't even start to fool yourself that a "decent marketing book" can help get a website up there amongst the big boys. It takes more than a book, MSc and awards to build a good website that ranks highly.
Prove you wrong - I have tried but you are dodging the question and issues something stupid. Try this: create 2 websites. One with flawless design and no content, other with just text. See which ones gets more hits, return visitors, unique visitors. Don't you understand even the basic concept of what I am saying??? Stupid question - obviously not.
