http://www.saladin.ca/ is about to become a collective journal, so our number one priority is how "relaxing" the text is (some of the articles will be very long).
But any comments about design or navigability would be welcome. CSS and XHTML (transitional) have been validated. Ignore the graphics (they're being replaced by professionals) and the actual content. Thank you. |

the sites readability is good
i would say the off-white background and good choice of font makes it very easy to read. Navigation seems fine, i would make the 'martian robot thing' graphic a clickable link, return the user to the homepage. The colours aren't exactly inspiring, but they're easy on the eye. But thats a matter of personal taste. I would suggest using h1 tags for your title, and moving your navigation up to the top in your source code so that if the user disables styles, the site still works well. |
