"Your browser is not supported" ??! ...using Safari, on an Apple Mac - as will most Mac users.

In Mozilla the site looks very nice, great colour scheme, makes it really clean and crisp - nice work!

i agree that the colour scheme is nice,

but when your site loaded, i was hit with a wall of text, i wouldn't be comfortable reading your site. Trying spacing things out a bit more.

you have an image and a script element outside of your body?

you could cut your mark-up down by a huge deal if your converted from tables to divs.

setting your font size with px stops ie users from resizing it.

It's too wide

Even though I'm running 1600x1200 (although with menus on the left so I have approx. at most 1500x1200 for MSIE) I still get the horizontal scroll bar, which is the world's most annoying thing on a web page if you ask me.

Appearance is ok, but I agree with the previous posting that it is somewhat cluttered.

Thumbs up

Agree with the "wall of text" - first looks it is a bit daunting and you don't know where to look because there's too much. Very impressive from a content POV. Liked the 15 min delay stock quote look up box. Tried a couple of Aussie stocks and got strange figures. I guess it is all US markets only as those sure wern't AUD prices? Maybe you should be stating "US Only" somewhere? Also liked the consistent colour scheme. Homepage comes in at 42K of which 30K is HTML and only 2K on images. Shows the text-heavy slant but downloads fast (8.59 seconds for a 56K modem user). Without sounding too much like Czar Jakob Neilsen you could maybe add a search box up the top near the member login? Top marks.

Would be nice if Login and Registration remembered your entries when it told you there was a mistake. It'd be a pain to enter everything again when you only missed one item, for example.

Site doesn't degrade to lower resolutions at all, which may mean a lot of side scrolling for some users or missed content on the right.

Changing text size in the browser has no effect, so you must be using a set size. Again, could be an issue to some users who may require a larger font size to read the screen.

Looks good though, overall.

-- Thanks for the input. I put the scroll bar in when the screen is minimized, so that the information doesn't compress too much (for browsers with 800x600 res) I didn't account for people who have large resolution as yourself. I'm going to correct this tonight

Thanks

p.s I am going to look into layout issues for better readability

-- Thanks for the input, I will add the search and for the Aussie stocks quotes it should work -- I will look into it, if it has to be only US, I will state that for sure

Thanks

-- That all great, I will look into it -- I shut off the remembering the entries a while ago, and I simply forgot to turn it on, I'll do that tonight

Thanks for the input, I will look into it

It is a bit cluttered, but filled with information (not ads, etc). I think it serves its purpose quite well!
