Hi There,

Would appreciate some feedback on my new Flash portfolio website. I have prepared the main interface and am about to add some of the main content (which will be housed in the resources).

Ideally, I would to know what everyone thinks about how the information is provided - and whether you feel it needs more animation or is best left the way it is.

thx in adv.

You posted this thread twice and one was without the website address. I've deleted that thread.

i like it very much, i think you have got the balance just right, as for the information, it seems well worded and well presented. a very 'solid' site

music off button would be good though

There should always be an option to turn off background music, and possibly an option for thoose on a slow connection,
In regards to content, all the contact things seem 'under construction' I understand that thoose take a lot of thought but you should still have an e-mail link, something along the lines of "Under Construction but click here to e-mail me" would be good.
BTW on the about the site page, I had to do quite a bit of scrolling to find out how to scroll, even though this didn't take that much guesswork, some people can be very slow.

Some excellent points there, thanks very much!! ...actually I have had to remove the contact info for the time being as I am currently looking for work and the recruitment agency asked me to remove those details.

Good point about the scrolling instructions, I guess they are a bit redundant. Maybe I should just remove that and have a small control panel somewhere for music and help?

as the tree said, music off button is a definite, and a low bandwidth version as he suggested would also be a good idea,

even though the site is obviously to show off your flash skills (which it does quite nicely i think), i think a html alternative would be a good idea.
