rather ok, a little hard to find ones way through probably..... the design imho is semi-professional - better than a regular hobby webmaster would do, not yet as good as a regular proffesionist would do

best regards

Professional or not?

I think it looks professional enough, but I do think the buttons are too small and you need to make it easier to navigate. But in my opinion, the site itself has a very good design and I think you have done a great job.

So to conclude:
Change the font and button size, and don't use new navigation terminology and you will have an outstanding site. I don't think it fair to say the site does not look professional however.

mhebert, I did not mean to offend you on that

Now here comes what I would "critisize" for what a professionist would not do:

* Generally the gfx, exspecially the right and left hand ones, are not what I would call professional. Itīs a mixture of some really simple doable gfx, that could be done by everyone that has APS and works with it for a few days.

* The site setup: By those gfx left and right hand you loose very much room for real content. Basically the page COULD have very much room for context and good overviewable pictures, but there isnīt cause of the site setup. That also makes the menu kinda sticking in the middle and being rather small. You know if you define the room of your page as the value 1, then probably 1/6 is variable part (meaning there comes the content) while 5/6 keeps being the same on most pages when surfing around. Itīs kinda inefficient.

* The colors: You could need probably a little more variotions in there...

I am not a native English speaker so I find it hard to explain exactly what I am meaning, but I hope I could give you a glance of what I was meaning to express.
Once again, it is not my intention to offend you in any way, I simply posted that critic because you asked me for it

As a positive point: I really do like those gfx at the bottom. I am talking about these: http://www.teesworld.com/images/index_23.gif they are stylish!

best regards, mithril

HI,

I'm not a pro nor a web designer... but i do agree that ur site looks professinal, except that the text is rather too small for 1024*768 screen resolution. can hardly read them.

Mithril

Mithril,

I did not think you meant any offence to the designer.

It is after all a forum that warrants some harsh criticism if needed, but I only wanted the designer to know that I felt the overall site was very good in my opinion.

I do think however that some thought must be put into the size of text and links. Good luck with your design!!

Mithril,

I understand what you mean, now I'm in step when I need more space for putting links, and sure I know disadvantages of my design. I understand that the final reason of site is not a design but it's functionality, but it is a little bit difficult for me start the site from that point because first of all I'm designer. In any case, thank you Mithril for this discussion.

those buttons at the bottom though are a bit "mystery meat navigation" ish (google for more info on that)...

I like the color. It's not a very popular color on the web and It's nice to see something unique.
