This site is designed to be a movie review site. It's not finished and what I'd like some critiquing on is the layout and color selections as well as the logo. As it works now anybody can submit a review however when I get done with it you will have to register on the forums before you can submit a review. This is not meant to be a portal but I figured it would be a lot easier to use the forums for registration/logging in instead of creating another and separate registratin/login system.

I'm not very good at layouts, graphics or color schemes so it's not the best looking site out there. What do you recommend for improving the looks even in the slightest bit? Are there any features you would like to see added or removed?

Also, does anyone know of a good online color scheme picker that, once you enter one base color it gives you a few complementing colors?

Thanks for any suggestions you can provide!

Hi,

The colour selection seem fine. The only things that I would personally change, would be to change the

a:hover{
color: #000000;
text-decoration: none
}

statement in your css to:

a:hover{
color: #000000;
text-decoration: underline
}

simply to split the link names in the navigation bar on mouseover. I would also remove the 'contact' link at the bottom of the pages, incorporating the contact link into the web address in the copyright statment. At present the link is sitting on it's own at the very base of the pages, and looks a bit out of place.

Great start, I can't wait to see the finished article.
