That background really annoys me. Change it! Also at the moment your site has no "depth". Add some contrastng colours, more images and change that font. I like the rest of the site, its great.

Aphonik - yah, ur the second person to ask me to change the bg, im workin on it. Ive also considered re-making some of the graphics and putting out like a V2.1

Yea I agree with Aphonik. Also throw in some CSS at the links to make it look more smooth. Make a header logo that blends in with the background so you can halve the size of it.

Excellent, Im glad you got rid of that background and I really like the navigation images. The only thing I would suggest now is stretching that top banner across the whole of that top box.

the reason i dont make the banner any bigger than it is, is so that people in 800 x 600 screen resolutions (blind people or old people or people who cant figure out how to change their screen resolution) would see it all messed up - the table with the main img would be all stretched out. Hope that helps to explain things

TBH, don't like the font you are using. But the main thing I think is that when you click on a sub link, eg: Tips > winXP, the side menu dissapears.
Your coding tutorials would benefit from some color coding, and the content (php form) should have some sort of disclaimer stating that there is no validation in the example and is open to abuse a bit :-)
As stated by someone earlier, you would definately benifit from using CSS a bit more - and your HTML is invalid - you won't get your coding examples taken particulary seriously(IMHO) when your coding isn't up to standard.
Also, you don't really define what the purpose of your site is - always helps.
