I have just set up a web design company - as i am primarily a developer and not a designer I would appreciate your advice on my site. In particular the design as i have tried to go for a pixel/tech style design and the advice centre.

Brilliant, love the colours, although possibly a little bit underground looking, still looks superb though, but you do have a broken link on the about.

Yeah... very bleak I thought, not very inviting...

I wouldn't consider it an exciting advert for your company

The questions in your advice centre seem kind of manufactured, I posted a question as a bit of a test, and it didn't appear, I was kind of disappointed

My question has now appeared, with an answer to boot, quite a good one , do you vet answers as well? (I would try, but i don't want to spam your site :P)

I think you site is great, i expecially like the advice centre, a good addition to that not many web design companies will have on there sites

Its what you wanted, so I guess its good. Gray all around doesn't sit with me for some reason. I normally like gray, but either something is missing from your site or the gray just doesn't work for me. Everyone has there own styles though, so don't change it if you like it. I like the advice center, it's a really good idea, you just need to get some more questions in there. What are you gonna do where alots of people ask questions? you should try to plan for the future just in case you get flooded (categories maybe). But, anyhow, its a good start.

Broken Link: Can you tell me where as i am having trouble finding it.

Missing Question: All questions go to a pending area that I personally admin - that way i can filter out the junk questions. I agree it could get out of control if it gets popular but im starting out and have time on my hands. The questions there prior to threes question were entered by myself for testing purposes.

Underground Look: I agree it is a bit dark but having looked at what other web companies are doing i didnt want to go the corporate - standard nav bar - blah blah sites everyone else does.

Menu Bar: I have had mixed responses to it - couldnt think of anything else funky to do with it - any ideas are welcome.

The whole site is modelled on www.fantasy-interactive.com which i loved. Anyway thanks for the tips.

I am afriad I do not like the design of this site. Large bodies of text offer little but waffle. Navigation is not very nice. Colours are drab. I see limited examples of exciting and creative use of available technologies to show-off your abilities.

If I was looking for a web design company based on web site alone I would not choose this.
