What is up with the use of the debian logo?

By the way using a background image to define the layout isn't really a good idea, it makes the site less scalable.
And all the text on the background image is inaccessible.

Yeah, you might want to fix the oddly aligned text.

Take the Debian logo off the site. Changed color and changed position or not, it's stealing. That sucks :|

ok, made alterations as per suggestion, sorry about the debian logo, it was an image i had running around my docunments for a while and thought it would look good. it did, but i couldnt figure out where i had seen it

I didn't see the page beforehand, but right now it looks
pretty good to me.

+ Loads quickly.
+ Navigation is obvious.
+ Navigation is easy to read.
+ Layout is constant.

- The headings like 'Home Page' don't stand out very well.
- Content appears to be in all bold and is a bit hard to
read. Don't know if that's a browser thing, or what. Or
maybe just a me thing... I would suggest that you increase
the line height of the paragraphs or the font size.


+ / - Your links don't have titles. Not necessarily a bad thing,
but sometimes proves helpful.

my 2 cents. (or 3, who knows)

Misalignment
When viewing the site in a 600p wide (half-screen) window, the text is oddly positioned - below the bottom border. It looks good in full screen mode.
