Layout feedback
Hi,
http://www.caidea.fi/templates/001/ I've made a template that I'd like to have feedback on. I mainly want feedback on the layout, how it looks. I haven't paid any attention to the HTML coding. The navigation doesn't even contain links, actually, the navi is actually just one image. So what I'd like to know is, does it please your eye? Something bothering you with it? 1. A header should not take up half of the available screen height.
2. Everything's smooth and rounded, which flows well, except the top left of the "your company's slogan comes here" section. 3. The navigation section is being overpowered by the rest, and that's not something the user should have to look for.

Consider adding an extra smaller column next to your main text area. This will be good for items like Latest News, Annoucements, Events etc.
The dummy text should be broken up into shorter paragraphs. Overall, your layout still seem too much like an idea sketch than a final product, need to spend more time on it I suppose. Best 'o luck! Cheers

I agree that the navigation is overpowered, I actually had to force myself to find it.
