I'm not promoting it, I just want serious criticism. About the layout, what it is, etc. If you have any ideas for it, that would help push it along, that'd be awesome too.

It's a social networking website where instead of having to have your friends on the network already, you just chat along with the people in your city who are signed up. So you meet new people, along with the ability to connect with your friends and family.

Don't want to go on and on about it, as it's not a promotion. I really would appreciate feedback.

I actually did not mind the colors. The contrast between text and background was fine.

One thing though, seeing as how your using all that javascript, don't you think you might as well add an onclick event for the Post New Thread input? So that when the user clicks it, it clears the value, so the user doesn't have to do it manually.

Well first, I have nothing against dark colors. But in my opinion you definitely need to add some colors there. Doesn't necessarily mean that it should be bright, just something that would not make it all look black. But I still would love to see the main color theme to be black.hehe And you could also add something there just to give everyone something to look at and not just pure text.. =)

Nice concept, though it just needs a tad color. Try mixing in some orange tints.
It loads really slow, is this ajax ?

Adding more color would definitely make the site more interesting. Good work though.

I like the look and feel. Very bright and bubbly.

Personally I prefer to be able to browse a site without having to give my email address first. You should allow people a tour, with access to restricted data, like Facebook or dating sites do before making you sign up.
