    Looking for design feedback.

I wouldn't mind content feedback, or art feedback, either. But that requires you looking deeper than normal >.<

Anyway, the URL is http://faestudio.com -- it's just a portfolio of art & my literature.

    id agree with Chinni25.

Page load is very slow until you hae the pictures cached. Wait till all the pics have loaded before you do the slide show.

looks very clean. I like it. For the right hand side, where it says "advertisement" on it. You should take that word, "advertisement" off because you want your reader to think it is another article so when they click on it you make money. This way, they know it is advertisement ad and they will NOT click on it.

It looks like you have some artworks saved as PNG files. Though PNGs are very good for web graphics with a lot of contrasting lines, they are less suitable for photos or other artworks as they have a comparatively massive filesize for an indiscernible quality advantage.

Also, if you're aiming for this to be of a self-employment website, consider stating that fact more prominently on your homepage.

However, I am very envious of your design and artistic skills. Well done!

You may want to consider having a thumbnail on your artwork images instead of scaling them down. This will increase your load time on that page.

Make sure to add in descriptive alt and title attributes to all of your images and links.

But I agree, very nice site and work.

I got one page past the index and had to stop:

    1) index page uses a PNG. Don't bother with them unless you have transparency; JPGs are fine for the most part even with little compression

    2) stop using the full size images in your thumbnails. Scale them in photoshop or something to the size they'll be displayed on the page then link to the larger ones. That's the slow loading problem.

The page load is so slow. Maybe you can do some work in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to make it better-designed.

SEO won't change the design, only the content.

Nice looking design, and easy to navigate. I enjoy visiting sites like this, showcasing - in this case - a portfolio. Thumbs up!

But, as the lovely man - with the half dog avatar - above me mentioned - scale the images down in the thumbnail - makes everything so much smoother.

Yeah I definitely like it. Although if you're looking to get people to buy, don't forget the calls to action. You have a lot of nice work which will probably do the selling itself, but having calls to action (like "Click To Get Started") could help you get business.

You have a very classy website and best wishes to your business ventures.
