OK
1) Flashing logo is really really annoying! 2) The login box looks stupid. Align the boxes properly 3) There is no obvious navigation. I arrive on your page and I have to read everything before understanding what it's about, where to go, etc. 4) Frames = Bad |

Computer is dead right, the logo has to go. The other points I agree with too; also...
You have forms on your site yet don't use one on the contact page. Its best to avoid 'mailto:' if you can, you may get lots of spam otherwise. Use a contact form instead. Regards, Duncan. ![]() |

i originally planned for the logo to flash and flicker for a few seconds like a light coming on, and then stay on. do you think that would be better?

That would definitely be better. The flashing is horrible. I couldn't even read anything 'cause the logo was so distracting and annoying. I just had to close it.
Ditto on the previous posters though. Especially on the frames. There's no need for them here (there rarely is).

Did this site really get honored as "UK's best 50 websites" ?
I agree with everything said so far, and I also add; Make the "Register" and "Forgot your Password" on separate lines. |

I'm in complete agreement with all the other posters comments here too. Also I would like to add that the colours are not quite there yet. If you want to keep the black background, then maybe you should look into lightening up your text colour, at the moment it's kind of blending into the background.
Again maybe I'm just getting old ! But I would definately modify the text colours ![]() goodluck |

No. I keep trying to scroll down in a futile attempt to get it off my screen. That's when I realize you're using frames (I still recommend to not use frames).
You can always make the flash file just not repeat. That way it'll just turn on and stay on. You should make the background of the flash object black so you don't see a white block while it's loading. You should be able to do this by adding this in the <object> tag in your code: Code:
<param name="bgcolor" value="#000000"> Heck, you don't even need Flash for this. An animated gif will do the trick. |

its based on number of clicks or visitors i think, but if im honest, i dont think every website in the uk is included in it. good for promotion though. |

1. get rid of those cliparts, it makes the site looks cheap
2. check your spelling, "featured artists" ? may be? |

i wasnt sure whether it was artists or artistes, and the spellchecker in dreamweaver doesnt pick up on it, but you arent the only person to have said that, so i have changed the spelling. I have also now removed the frames.
