Wow. I don't much like sites that don't auto-resize for the res, but you have nice graphics. I like that. Nice pre-loader too.
My only suggestion is to make it all resize to the resolution of the viewer's screen.

Btw, the menu is a bit scratchy. What does that mean? Maybe it's just me doing ten things at once, but it seems to jiggle a bit when it moves. Oh, and you might want to shorten the time it takes to move the menu down. >.> Of course that could be part of the jiggling thing. :P

this site design is not meant to auto-resize... it's meant to be this fixed width... this is not a portal or a site like that... it's an homepage, it's meant to be this way...

about the scratchy/jiggling thing... I don't know what you are talking about, it's working fine, and the time it takes to move down it's perfectly fine...

(sic)master asked me to demonstrate what i meant by a table less design,

http://www.bath.ac.uk/~en3cl/webeg/naztest.html

it's not finished, but the bones are there, it's just a matter of playing with css, perhaps changing the way your menu is made to get it finished off.

I hope that helps, you're welcome to use that page as your own, i'm not fussed, it's hardly like im a professional

---edit---

if i get time i might make some refinements to it, and i'll continue to host the page for a while yet (i simply hotlinked all of your images and scripts btw)

thanks a lot...
I just wanted to see how some things were done cuz I was having difficulties reproducing the same effects with divs only...

You don't need to more refinement but thanks, only if I really can't finish it off... I'll let you know

I'll not use it as my ows... well... I never copy soemthign exactly, I always try to understand the code, and then do it myself, otherwise, I'll never learn... I'll take a deep look at it and see what I can do...

thanks a lot..

well... for the geeky-webdesigners (:P) I've done the site layout in the divs instead of tables... it's the same site lol... http://www.nazgulled.net

however, I just did it to the site layout, and I want to ask you what sould I do to the following sections. Check each section of the site and tell me if I should let it stay the way it is (tables) or code it in divs:

1. About » Portfolio
2. About » Photos
3. Art » Photography/Designs/Wallpapers/Others
4. Downloads

goooo DIVS!

i feel a bit guilty for kick starting you on this, but it's good to see you've grasped things so quickly.

to answer your question, if i was making the site from scratch i wouldn't use any tables, but i think as you've already made all the pages, you might has well just put the table-div conversion on the back burner until you've got some spare time.

(sorry i hadn't got back to you about the issue with your code, but i've been a tad busy, but i see you've got it sorted)

well.. I have a tendency to learn a bit quick

I have a saper time now, I'm on school vacations , actually, I have some other stuff to do, like, i'm coding a blog script in php to make it avaialble to the public and I decided to make the default skin in divs too, however I'm getting some troubles with IE, wich I don't see how to fix them, I'll just post the problem in css help to see if anyone can help me...
