Need some advice
I would like some feedback on my design. It doesn't look very good. Something is missing (like an image somewhere).
Could you please help? Thanks. http://www.findagoodhost.com/index6.php |

i'd get rid of the gradiant in the top part, maybe just have a solid blue through it. also, use a font other than verdana, it seems to generic.
and the orange-brown like color you have for the logo works over blue, but over white it is nearly invisible. try darkening it a bit. having more than 3 colors in your site isnt a bad thing keep up the good work, this site has potential |

the site has a professional feel about it, which i like. Some of the colours that are on the far right of the index page seem to dull and hard to read (the author mostly), colours overall are good and i dont mind your navigation overall a good start.

i think the gradient makes it look better, and the font is nice too. too many people these days use verdana; arial is a nice, sleek compromise.
i think an image in the middle, perhaps the full width of this central area, would spice things up a bit... |

Not much wrong with the look apart from you may need an image or two inserted. I would put one in the header to grap peoples attention and also one in the content. Make it relevant though, there is nothing worse than stock photography with no relevance to the content.
The navigation links should be another colour other than black. Arial is a nice font to use, i use it a lot myself. The light orange links are a bit lost on the right side. Otherwise its very easy on the eyes. Well done. |
