So yerr, my main problem in designing, is the most important task (or one of) ... colour scheme. (Argh!)

So here goes (Don't be 'too harsh' =[)

There really isn't a lot to say. The colour scheme appears OK but no idea about the hyperlinks and your banner appears to stretch a lot wider than your body. You need to complete the mockup before asking for a opinion perhaps.

Good luck.

Cheers, Primordial ...

To start, you really need a better image host. Image shack FTL, took me 45seconds to load this thing, I have a T3 connection...

The site is pretty good, Fix how "Latest News, News archive, etc..." is completely against the edge, give it a bit of breathing room. Color scheme is good, the overall layout is good.

Add a footer and your set...

I agree with The Moose:

But I think other than that it looks quite good, the big question is, does it scale down and look okay on a 800 by 600 screen, or even a 1024 by 768. That navigation bar looks quite wide, perhaps a simple drop down would save some space.

Also from an accessibility point of view, try to keep as much of the headers as text rather than images, you'll of course have to keep the top one as an image in that font.

Best if luck,

Watters

Agree with other commentsa and Color scheme is good.

Get rid of white space on page both at bottom of links/release dates so bottom of page is balanced and scale across width of page to match top menu/logo.

Need info like about, contact, sitemap, etc could be in the footer menu.
