Random Thoughts

What do you think about this little app/website?

How do you think that I could more traffic to it?

How do you think I could monetize it?

My thoughts on it are pretty random...

Well... My first thought of the site is... Why?

Don't really see the point of a site that collects peoples random thoughts... so not sure how you'd be able to monetize it or get a lot of traffic to it.

But maybe that's just me.

Your just paranoid and don't like to share your thoughts:

"They're coming to take me away"

Your critique is much to biased...sorry

j/k

...

Surprisingly, people use it and there is about 100 impressions per visitor.

The only reason for it is for a laugh and to kill time...just for fun...it is very interesting other people have told me.

think you need some censorship on that... f*ck, sh*t. Or maybe have a way to validate if someone is over 18, if so show swear words?

Yes. Do you know of any script that will remove any swear words? Then again, there could be innappropriate material that does not contain swears. Maybe I will set up something that allows users to Moderate it...and if something is marked as innappropriate 3 or more times, then delete it. I don't know. What's the best way to have a website Moderate itself?

Maybe a mark as spam. Chances are if you're going to have a large database there's not much chance of having it marked three times. I would do a simple DB query where if any comments have one or more spam complaints then show them (on a password protected page). Then you could order them so the higher priority ones go to the top. Just add another column saying 'spam' and +1 every time.
