Nice color scheme, but you need some sort of welcome page. The screen is basically blank until you click one of the name buttons. This makes the site look broken or something. Add a brief intro/welcome page to explain what the site is and where to go to find what.

I'm w/ karsh44 and Reactor re; the homepage... at first, I thought the site must been broken, or that my browser stopped loading the page, until I read their remarks. The homepage is your first - and sometimes only - chance to grab your audience's attention. You're not using it effectively at all.

Also, I'm not sure what you're wrong doing w/ CSS on the actual blog pages, but the text is horribly obscurred... you should take the time to test this site in more than 1 browser. (see attached screen shot)

What I do for a lot of my sites if I do not have the amount of content to fill them is to get some feed's from other sites.

Go to http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scrip...hing/index.html

They have a pretty good list of some free scripts to fetch content from other sites.

Lets face the reality of it, 90% of the sites are not big projects with hundreds of people working on them. Most of the internet is build on us us 90%. So we need some help from outside sources sometimes.

Dr. Groove, what browser are you using? I tested my site using all kinds of online testers, my source came back crystal clean. I would really like to know the browser so i can know how to fix it ... i only have ie on my server.

And thanks for the good replies, the homepage is totally lacking. Any other ideas on what kind of content to put on there?

i see the same thing as in drgroove's png, in mozilla 1.5 and firebird 0.6.1

opera is 100x worst and is basically totally unreadable in the first half.. it gets better after you scrolldown. it seems to be related to that red underlined text...

all of these on the pc, you might use browsercam to see it yourself; would help with testing too =)

Mozilla Firebird 0.6

And, before you say "Oh, no one uses that browser" check the 'what browser do you use' poll in the Lounge, or go read /., or google on 'mozilla usage statistics'. You'd be surprised. You'll want to clean up your CSS if you expect people who aren't using M$IE to view this site.
