Think to your self, when you are thinking about horse, ranch, show jumping, which colours comes to mind?

Wouldn't green be quite at home there?
What about some khaki?

As for the colors, those are the barn colors, so I really didn't have much of an option there.

Your page looks just ok compared to other h/j stables webpages I have seen, in fact not nearly as nice. I hope that you are new at this sort of designing, otherwise I hope you seek professional assistance in your case and as others have stated the colours are quite unique and not a good choice at ALL...as well as the pictures of the h/j riders-- not showing very skilled form in the least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to tell you that we loved the site. I dont know much about making websites, thats not my specialty. But I just thought that you would like to hear a "normal" persons veiw on the site.
I used to ride at Lightacres many years ago, and have always wished Sue would start a website. Just so as to keep up with news and so on. I was just fiddleing around on Google, and typed in Lightacres, and to my surprise, there was a website. I just have to say, its great! Especially for your first try. The colors, tho some people have posted that you chose the wrong ones, and they seemed to be a little rude about it, I think you couldnt have picked any better. They are the barn colors and no others would have been right to use on the site.
And the pictures, we like how when you hover the mouse over some, it changes to tell you who it is of ( cant beleive some of those people, and horses are still around LOL ), and others change to show you another picture.
As I said before, I dont know much about "makeing" a website, but, as for viewing a website, I think you did a wonderful job. Its not what other techy people think about it, its what the customer, Sue and Lightacres, and the viewers think about it. And as I have said many times already, We Like It!! Congrats on a job well done!!!

Perhaps next time you'll comment on a more recent site, not one which is over 3 months old.
