Review Request: seemecreate.com
Hello, I have completed my site actually quite a while ago, but it would be great to get some reviews on the design/functionality.
http://www.seemecreate.com Thanks in advance! |

I like the choose of color and it loaded pretty fast on my computer including the animation on the top. The color choosen was really good, Blue, Gray, Black and White work well together and looks very profesional. I would add more stuff when you get the time.

Nice site, like everything, a bit slow for me (T1). Why are you chagning the domain name for each page and not using normal directory/file structure? I think that would cause the slowness with the caching of images not relating to the site as a whole but only that page.

I am using sub domains as a test project for search engines, trying to place keywords in the domain rather than file names. I haven't seen any difference as of yet, but it certainly hasn't seemed to hurt me either.
As far as cached images, I thought of that too, so all CSS defined images are mapped to the root URL ei: http://www.seemecreate.com/graphics/myimage.jpg therefor the images should be cached only once. When I did that, the speed increased quite a bit. The only other thing I can think of is that I am splitting sub domains programatically and not server side. I'll have to give that a try, but I get conflicting statements on speed, some say it's lightening fast, others sluggish. I'm still looking for the problem. Thanks for the looks so far! |
