Review site? (warning SLIGHTLY adult-oriented)
Okay, you've been warned.
This is my first attempt at HTML coding etc, so please be gentle. White Lotus Website Goals: - clean and simple interface - NOT the feel of a trashy porn-site - elegant, sophisticated, but personal and friendly. I'd like to refine the portfolio section so the photos pop up in a mini-window, also, so the photos "glow" when you mouseover them, but I have no idea how to do either. I've decided to elicit some feedback before going further with this anyhow. Thanks, Celeste |

Achieved:
- clean and simple interface - yes * - NOT the feel of a trashy porn-site - yes - elegant, sophisticated, but personal and friendly - yes * Looks not bad, main comment is why you have the main content in an iframe? well, I know why, but I dont think I like it ![]() Re pop up window, example link below: Code:
<a href="/Images/black1.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href,'jpg','top=30,left=30,width=350,height=510'); return false;" onkeypress="window.open(this.href,'jpg','top=30,left=30,width=350,height=510'); return false;" title="View Picture"><img src="/Images/black1.jpg" border="0" width="67" height="269" alt=""></a> ?

I personally think the goals you listed are all achieved but for the horizontal scroll bar that appears if your site was viewed in a 800 * 600 resolution monitor. I think when designing websites the site must be created with a minimum resolution of 800*600 in mind.
But i must say that the site is simple yet the information is pretty straight forward regarding the services offered. ~ Techie. |

I would agree. ALOT of people are set at 800 x 600. Have to be ready for those folks. Overall through the site is very well done. Clean, simple and the point. Very good effort.
