Its great, I love the colours.

the only thing i would say is that you could centre it, as on my screen its on the left hand side, while the other half is empty!

Well done!

From the technical aspect, the code is a tag soup—non-structured and non-semantic. Your browser sniffer is obsolete. A modern browser using the W3 DOM is excluded! Only obsolete browsers can run your javascript.

Visually I'd agree with Adi. Centering the page, at least horizontally, would look better in large browser windows. A jarring note is added by the scrolling element (iframe) not having separation from the non-scrolling part. The bare-nekkid scroll bar lacks 'smooth'. A simple border, say 1px in the background color, would do the job.

I have no clue why you chopped up and reassembled your images. Contrary to myth, slicing images does not speed download times. It only creates multiple GETs with the attendent overhead. Using tables for layout also increases download and rendering times.

That said, if your goal is to have a nice looking site, you get a B. It doesn't have warts, but it's not special. If the user experience is important, the slow download (tested on dial-up) and lack of support for modern browsers rates a C-. It doesn't fail, but is below average.

cheers,

gary

I like it!

The site looks really good. The colors are great. It's a great site that is very simple to get around. I also think you have used the right amount of images, etc.

If I was to offer my own criticism, it would be that I am not a big believer on scrolling inside of a page. It bothers me, but with anything sometimes that is the best way - with your site that might be so. I always hate scrolling down a page with my mouse scroller and getting caught on the inside scroll. Did that make any sense?

However, great site - I am sure you can count me as a returning visitor.
