Site check please: dowload time, colors, user friendly

Well for starters if you don't have the plug in there's no alternative, which I think is a big turn-off. I'm playing with firefox so I didn't get past that...

If you don't have the plug-in for macromedia flash you are not going to be able to view half of the sites on the internet.

Not every one surfs the web for games, some use it for imformation too. I can sympathise with whitelines, I use Firefox too for the most, if I want to view flash, I use IE - simple.

Re your site, nice if you like Flash, though I found it a bit blue Had my sound off, so don't know whether these is music or not.

I'm on cable, your site feels snappy, tested on Firefox and IE6.
Didn't play all the games though ...

I think you should have a short sub-heading or slogan (at least), just to mention what the site is about. And also some hints to let visitors know where to start.

The game titles are placed too far from the navigation buttons. I didn't notice it was changing at first, better if its nearer to the navigation. Now I have to - 1) focus on where my mouse is pointing, then focus my eyes way up there to read the game title. After a few backandforths, I ... start to get dizzy

But I like that the thumnails were loaded beforehand, feels very responsive. (I really hate staring at [slow] preloader bars )

Another point is that the description text just sits there in the right hand side panel, it requires moi, the user to 'do some work' for info on any one title - 1) mouse over navigation see screenshot and, 2) Scroll panel to view info. After a while I'm thinking, why bother?

The text is hard to read. Mostly its because of the colors - text and bckground color - too alike.

The blue monotone color scheme is too dark. That plus the swirling effect, make the whole site seem a little dark, depressing and ... dull.

I think you should do a little sales pitch, you know, market your site and games. Tell people that they can play your games, that they are free and fun etc ... yeah, think about business... 'Tell a friend' modules, bookmark site, new games newsletter/annoucement.

What is the actual purpose of your site BTW? - are you a student, is this a for school only project? do you want to let the world play your games? looking for a job? I can't tell ... which bring me to a very important point...

Your site right now just sits there and doesn't care whether I 'get it' or not. Kind of like going to a restaurant where no one comes to serve you. People will just go away.

Help your visitors to move around your site, no need too fancy, just use words ...

I think your site is very good technically, but not enough design time.

i aggree the text is to hard to read, both because of the color, and it is a bit small,

and that menu really could need some work,
it is not good UI that one has to mouseover each button to see where they lead.
