Site for critique

Wanted to post my link and get some critique about it all especially on my nav bar because I want a few creative ideas on how I should have it look that also looks good with the site itself.

Not a big fan of the grey/blue with the red. Very harsh on the eyes and not very easy to read.

background - it doesnt line up in the top and bottom. especially the bottom left and right corners

Not sure what your going to do with the big grey box at te top of the page... it looks a little odd???

The images you are using for the top of each box does look very dated too.

The red icon for the shopping basket is too big for the shopzone top of the box. make that smaller

Navigation - The drop down works so thats a plus but its not very easy on te eye either. black on avery dark background... you may want to make the drop down background lighter?

the font in the drop down does not match the website. also give the <li>'s a little padding, to separate the words

Visited with IE 8 RC 1 on 1024px resolution with large fontsize and I get a horizontal scroll bar. The site doesn't fit into my browser window. The navigation is not good readable for persons with a poor eye sight and red/green color blindness like me. You should change the navigation color to white for better contrast.

Aside from that your site work with IE 8 RC 1

Colour scheme works for me, font on the drop down menu needs to change (sans serif) and the white site name could be a little bigger and positoned just below the red KOW.

There is too little contrast between the colours, especially on the red text and the background colour.

Not a huge fan of the dark red and black drop downs.

There are CSS and HTML errors shown during validations of each.

It is kinda generic. You might want to try a sharper look to attract more members.

Like a Web 2.0 look.

i like the glassy look and feel, however the header image seems to not aligned properly and the red logo seems quite busy for the space.

The font is hard to read due to its size and color mixes and the navigation menu font doesnt match rest of site.

I liked the layout though, quick and easy.

Methinks it would look more uniform if you put gradients on all the boxes, not just the central ones. I like they way they fade into the background...

You've used a san serif font thoughout the home page, so I don't think you should be using a serif font in the navigation bar. It looks out of place.

Also might want to get rid of watermarks in your images Fantastic job though!

It's nice. Maybe 1024 pixels would be better.
