site redesign coming up - what do you think?

http://www.torquesteer.com

the current site is getting old, so it is going up for a redesign. I want to keep the same kind of feel, because it has gotten good reviews so far. What do you guys see wrong with the site (except the store, I updated the software and it screwed up the layout). I will incorporate all the changes into the next version! thanks!

not bad

two opinions:
- in general, the website feel is too "full", you should air a bit the different elements. For instance if you use tables, use cellspacing or cellpadding to increase empty spaces. I tend to think people do not like to read text on a pc screen so do not overload your gui with text. Images are better.

- navigation bar could be more conceptual, that is, related to your content:

(hardcore) example: http://www.pivotdesign.ca
Of course, this is just an example to illustrate what i mean, you do not and should not copy this system (i don't think you'd want to, you have way too much content for that). But keep in mind that surfing a website provides experience, much like a car provides experience. Ask yourself: how can the information on your website be interfaced so that visitors get an intuitive feel of its topics, content ? the navigation system is the key to that.

hope this helps
