    Weird no posts here...

Noone mainly cares that it is HTML/CSS valid (didn't check if it was) so take that out. You have some sort of blog going there on the homepage and that needs to be updated bi-weekly...I'll give more later.

TBH i don't really like that , when you open the site, everything you see is blue. It's like you drive into a tunnel and then when you come out, your eyes need to adapt , well , this is the same way. My advice: take different samples of blue and mix them else you can go white/gray/blue/darkblue

Make some sort of gradiant where it's dark on the edges and fades inwards. Something like egproductions.net

I believe they have what I'm describing...

Far too much information on a page
Useful content doesn't start until far down page
    Graphics are poor

I'm viewing this in IE7. The blocks don't seem to have padding or margin (the text is right up against the edges of the blocks). I would ad some.

Make navigation icons at top smaller. I'm not fond of the font under the nav icons.

For the main text, try floating the images left (or alternate left-right-left-right...) within each paragraph.

maybe improve the organisation of the content, rather than having everything effectively in a list that runs down the page.

could you maybe introduce a grid format with a snippet of information about each area that you specialise in...to find out more, people click on the heading.

that way your home page has the key information on it without overloading the user.

Remember they may just be interested in your SEO,to find that they have to scroll right to the bottom of the page.

Thanks for the criticsm so far guys, appreciate it, keep it coming.

Will look into the points you gave now.

One question though, if I were to decrease my text and thus keywords on my home page surely this will have an effect on my SEO especially as I have not got many incoming links as of yet.

Decreasing font size hurts SEO? That's a first.

Not decreasing font or text size, I mean decreasing content amount.

Yes of course that will effect your SEO. Try not to decrease the content, or rather I should say, get rid of it. Just move it to a different page where more content is expected.

Don't care for the 'design' whatsoever. It's a little on the dated side. Plus there are too many different fonts on it.

My main quam is with you claiming to be capable of SEO, when your markup is really quite bloated with filler <p> tags. Example:

    Code:

       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>
       <p>&nbsp;</p>

       <p>&nbsp;</p>
Totally unnecessary. Your markup should be clean and lean, especially considering that's one of the things you boast about. Repeatitive classes in <p> tags could be eliminated by putting them all into one <div> and assigning all child Paragraphs one global class. That's just a start.

Right hand column NEEDS padding. And you have to do something with those nav icons in a row up top. Make them smaller!

    The bad:

    1. Is that thing blue? Oh my..

    2. Come up with a logo.

    3. If you're going to have a logo for 'Home' might as well have one fot the sitemap also. Or get rid of the Home logo.

    4. Too much colors, too much. And they're all very contrasting.

    5. The Ad animation, that's a no-no. Plus the bevel effect on the borders make it seem very amateur-ish.

    6. The Make an online enquiry now button is a fish out of water.

    7. The drop shadow on the 150 Euro doesn't look good.

    The good:

    1. I love the footer.

    2. You went right by sticking to the same family font.

    Bottom line:

Take your footer as the main inspiration design for your website, it's be nice to have a website called BLUEicewebdesign whose layout is actually blue, lol.

I'd increase your margins both in the header and the main content. I'd also condense what you have on the first page, most people will leave before scrolling that far. The hover links on your menu are too hard to read, if you want to go with that background color then change the text on hover.

I really like the ice cube look on the logo.

    Thanks,
