Definitely I prefer downtowntransmission.com
It looks cleaner, and I like how the edges are rounded against the background. More professional than A.

Thank you so very, very much! That is what I am hoping to hear...
Today the world, tomorrow the universe...

Although I will say B is better than A, my initial feeling on the design is 'overwhelmed'.
Everything on the page is HUGE, and unless you're targeting elderly people or people hard-of-sight (whom i hope AREN'T driving), I'd say downsize just about everything...including the logo.
If you shrunk page elements/padding/line heights/whitespace down a bit, you'd have a lot more information above the fold.

Definatly B, Works better on the eyes in how its layed out.
Altho some changes need to be made as everyone above said ;D

I liked B better. Don't care for the header image though.
A needs a bigger left margin.

If it is not too late I vote B.. however both were good.
My biggest problem with both sites is there is way too much small text on the main page.. when people get to you site you need to answer the biggest questions first.. like in a matter of 5 seconds.. neither site does that..
Something like "We fix transmissions in XXXX vehicles" Book an appointment now."
Our hours are XXXX-XXXXX
Call us now for immediate bookings.
If I was going to a transmission site all I want to know is can you fix my transmission (so what types of transmission do you fix) If you do then great where the heck is the phone number and what are your hours..
The rest is just filler.. 95% of it will never get read except by you and your employees..
Just my two cents.
